I’ve been sewing for most of my life, but my journey into bridal alterations began when my boss at the bridal store I worked at noticed my passion for seamstressing and encouraged me to explore alterations. She gave me the opportunity to work with the in-house alterations team at her bridal store in Wilmington, where I honed my skills and fell even more in love with the craft. Her belief in my talent inspired me to take a leap and start my own business. That is how Tailored by Tea was born—a place where I can combine my lifelong love of sewing with the joy of helping brides feel beautiful.
